Picket Fence Studios and Ghouls

 

Picket Fence Studios has a really fun release for August, and I am happy to share a project with with you today! The card I made features The Ghouls Made Me Do It and Trick or Treaters stamp and coordinating die set. I stamped the ghouls on white cardstock with VersaMark ink and embossed then with clear embossing powder. I sprinkled the panel with Black Brusho Colourcraft powder and spritzed it with water. It’s fun to watch all of the fun colors in the powder flow and spread! The Trick or Treaters are stamped on heavy weight card stock and colored with water based pigments. I added a couple pieces of spider web doilies, sparkly kitty stickers and a “cute” little spider sticker to finish off the card.

A Crafty Trifecta!

Today I’m part of a crafty trifecta with Picket Fence Studios, My Sweet Petunia, and Thermoweb. I used the adorable cat stamp and coordinating die from the Picket Fence Studios set, I Love Your Face. The sentiment is from the set, A Bright Night.

I used gold Thermoweb Deco Foil to create a colorful foiled background for my card. The foil is adhered to the tacky surface of alcohol ink before it completely dried.

I used my mini MISTI to position the sentiment at the bottom of the card base, and stamp it multiple times for a perfect impression.

Wow! and Picket Fence Studios Collaboration

Today I’m happy to be part of the Wow! and Picket Fence Studios collaboration. To create my card I used Oyster Glintz embossing powder to emboss the stamped images of the I Love You Momma from the set onto hot press watercolor paper. I watercolored the images with ink from water based markers, and die cut the images using the coordinating I Love You Momma die set.

The background was created by embossing a sheet of paper with Fool’s Gold Embossing Glitter (WS80R). I then cut the embossed sheet into strips, and adhered to another sheet of paper, and die cut into a rectangle.

Picket Fence Studios and Grace Puppy

Picket Fence Studios has a really fun release for July, and I am happy to share a project with with you today! The card I made features the Grace Puppy stamp set. I stamped the sentiment and pooch on white cardstock and colored the image with alcohol markers. A couple of fishtail banners dress this card right up!

Picket Fence Studios and Chickens

Picket Fence Studios has a really fun release for June, and I am happy to share a project with with you today! The card I made features the One Hot Chick and The Hen House stamp sets and One Hot Chick coordinating die set. I love these ladies! I stamped the hen house on cream colored cardstock in a light brown ink and colored the image with alcohol markers. I inked it up a bit with Life Changing Blender Brushes, and adhered the colored, die cut ladies in place.

Stamping Friends

Today I’m happy to be participating in a large Stamping Friends Trifecta blog hop with Picket Fence Studios, My Sweet Petunia, and Gina K Designs.

For my project I chose to use several images from the Elegant Asters Stamp set from Gina K Designs. I stamped the images on watercolor paper and colored them with water based markers. I used the Elegant Asters coordinating dies to die cut the images.

I used a My Sweet Petunia Mini Misti to position and stamp the sentiment on the front of my card. The Mini Misti makes it super easy to get a really nicely stamped sentiment, because you can stamp in the exact same location over, and over, as needed.

Finally, I adhered the colored images to a folded half sheet of Sweet Mango Pure Luxury Cardstock, from Gina K Designs.

The card I made features the Poppy Blossoms stamp set and Poppy Blossoms coordinating die set. I stamped the poppies on watercolor paper and painted them with water based brush markers. I popped additional layers of the poppies up on foam adhesive for a bit of dimension, and added a green twine bow.

Chirp, Chirp!

Picket Fence Studios has a really fun release for April, and I am happy to share a project with with you today! The tag I made features the Chirp Chirp stamp set and Chirp Chirp coordinating die set. I love these little birdies! It’s a small set, with 8 bitty birds, just perfect for adding a little feathered cutie to your projects. I stamped Slice of Wood on white cardstock in brown Distress ink. I inked it up a bit with Blender Brushes, and adhered the colored, die cut birdies in place.

Slice of Wood and Wild Rose Bouquet

Picket Fence Studios has a wonderful release for March, and I am happy to share two cards with with you today! The first card features the Slice of Wood stamp. It’s perfect for background stamping (especially for masculine cards). I stamped Slice of Wood on kraft cardstock in brown Distress Oxide ink. I gave it a light spritz with water, and flicked on some additional splatters of ink. I stamped the Boho Bull image on heavyweight cardstock with Black Hybrid ink and used the Boho Bull coordinating die to diecut the colored image. I added a pretty paper flower to coordinate with the strip of patterned paper, and added faux stitching for fun.

The second card features the Wild Rose Bouquet and the Petite Cup die. I started by stamping the wild rose image on watercolor paper and colored the image with waterbased markers. I used the tea cup die to cut out a Petite Cup shape painted with the lovely roses. I added some pretty paper flowers, a twine bow and a pretty green button for embellishment.

I Love Your Face

Picket Fence Studios has a wonderful release for February, and I am happy to share two cards with you that I just love! The cards feature the I Love Your Face stamp set and coordinating dies.

I stamped the adorable cat image several times with Black Hybrid ink and colored them up with alcohol markers in a variety of cute kitty colors.

The second card is a bit simpler, with only two kitties. These two buddies are stamped on kraft cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. The background of the card features the Sunbeam 6x6 Stencil, inked with LC Blender Brushes.

I added Glossy Accents to their eyes and noses, and used a gel glaze pen to enhance their smiles.

Dany Girl Silhouette

I used the new Dany Girl die from Picket Fence Studios to create this pretty silhouette card.
I first die cut a piece of black glitter paper, then a piece of fun foam and adhered the two pieces together to create a fun embellishment that has a bit of dimension.

Picket Fence Studios has a wonderful release for January, and I am happy to share a card with you that I just love! The card features the Dany Girl stamp and Dany Girl die, as well as Wild Heart Gypsy Soul image and a portion of one of the sentiments from the set.

The Dany Girl image is stamped with Black Hybrid ink and colored with alcohol markers. The card base is stamped with the Wild Heart Gypsy Soul floral, and inked with the amazing Blender Brushes — the Blender Brushes work amazingly well, and I love using them to add a bit of depth to basic card stock.

I added just a portion of the be fearless sentiment, stamped on black card stock and embossed in white detail powder.

Have a Cheerful Day

Picket Fence Studios has a cute release for December, and I am happy to share a card with you that features Have a Cheerful Day stamp and coordinating die.

The image is stamped with Black Hybrid ink and colored with alcohol markers. I added glitter glue for sparkle and shine.

I Love You, Momma

I’m participating in this week’s Free for All challenge on SplitCoastStampers. The challenge is Go for the Gold, and we are to feature something gold and sparkly anywhere on our project. I chose to add a die cut scalloped circle cut from super sparkly gold glitter paper. The momma and her baby are from the I Love You, Momma stamp set from Picket Fence Studios. Coordinating dies for the set are also available, which cut the images out perfectly!

The images are stamped in Intense Black Hybrid Ink and colored with alcohol markers. Momma and her baby are adhered to the card with foam adhesive, so they have a bit of dimension from the card base.

Picket Fence Studios: Jill Girl

Picket Fence Studios is releasing several new stamp sets today and I’m delighted to share a project that features one of the new sets, Jill Girl (BG115). This girl is a beauty in her chunky knit scarf, mittens, and knit mug cozy!

I stamped the image in black ink and colored the image with alcohol markers. I used LCBB to ink the background, to create a warm and cozy background.

Picket Fence Studios: A Gnome Winter

Picket Fence Studios is releasing several new stamp sets and I’m delighted to share a project today that features one of the new sets, A Gnome Winter (S126). This fella is so cute in his knit hat!

I used one of the sentiments in the set to lightly stamp the background, to create a slight text background. He is stamped in black ink on kraft colored card stock and colored with alcohol markers.
