I really love designing tags! Many of the tags I design are symmetrical, which allows you to adhered two tags together, back to back, so you can have a “pretty” side on both sides of your tag. This die is symmetrical.

Impression Obsession: Old is New

Today is an “old is new” day for the Impression Obsession team, where we feature older products in the Impression Obsession catalog. We hope you're inspired!

I created a card using Penguin Wreath and a sentiment from Holiday Words. The penguin is stamped on a watercolor paper circle I made using one of the layers from Wacky Stitched Circles. I colored the image with water based marker pigments, and added red gems to the wreath for a bit of sparkle and shine. A quick and easy card, ready to send holiday greetings to someone special.

It’s the Little Things Rubber Stamp

I die cut the gate, hen, nest and sentiment strip from various colors of cardstock, added additional detail with markers and inked edges. I assembled the scene in place on the front of my card, plopping the hen down on her nest, right in front of the gate. *grin*

The Gnome Said Stamp Set
Birch Frame Square Die Set (leaves)
Tag with Capped Top (sentiment banner)

I die cut the gnome, hen, whiskey barrel and leaves from various colors of cardstock, added additional detail with markers and inked edges. I assembled the scene in place on the front of my card, plopping the gnome right in the middle of a whiskey barrel planter of peach roses, with his hen nearby for company. *grin*

Thought I’d share a quick and easy masculine card idea, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

This card is made using stamps and dies from Impression Obsession, including Moose, Wooden Heart, Handmade Label, Journey sentiment, Grunge Cover-a-Card, and French Handwriting.

Impression Obsession: January Favorite

Welcome to the Impression Obsession January 2021 stamp release Team Favorites blog hop! Today, designers are sharing our favorite projects from this month’s release. 

The card I’m sharing today was made with the Journey stamp, as well as the Bear die, and the Stitched Tag die set. I really love how this card turned out! I can see myself using this design a lot more in the future, especially for cards for fellas.

I created another card using the Journey stamp and am sharing a video showing the creation process of making the card!
