I hope you enjoy the new dies in this release, welcome some of them into your stash, and make all kinds of wonderful crafty creations with them. Impression Obsessions dies are made with high-quality US steel, and some of them are designed by me!
Today is the first day of a two day Fall Die Release Celebration for Impression Obsession, and I hope you enjoy the inspiration! All of the new dies you see on our celebration posts today and tomorrow are available now on the Impression Obsession website.
The first project I am sharing features three dies from the release. Plaid Tag (DIE868-Z), Black-Eyed Susan (DIE851-ZZ), and one of the buttons from Button Card (DIE853-V). I cut the base of Plaid Tag from kraft colored cardstock and cut the top layer of Plaid Tag from a pretty burgundy colored cardstock, and inked the layers a bit. I cut one of the buttons from the Button Card set from watercolor paper and inked it with a pretty green ink. I cut all of the layers of the Black-Eyed Susan flower from watercolor paper and inked them with various colors of yellow, brown, and green inks.
I assembled all of the pieces, layering them and adding dimension with foam adhesive and hot glue, and ooooooo, I love it!
The next project I’m sharing features the same Black-Eyed Susan set (DIE851-ZZ), but uses the small tag from the Deckled Tag set (DIE855-Q) and the round base tag from Web Tag (DIE877-T). Again, I die cut the Black-Eyed Susan shapes from watercolor cardstock and inked the shapes with various colors of yellow and brown inks. I stamped Thanks (A9370) on the small Deckled Tag. I love the shape and design of this tag base. And while it comes with a web and is ideal for Halloween themed projects, but will be perfect for tags year round! Behind the flower is even a bit of wacky faux stitching. Fun!
I assembled all of the pieces, layering and adding dimension with foam adhesive to create the finished tag.

Your black eyed Susan's are just gorgeous! I would so much rather use a layering die than a layering stamp set!!! And you could even cut all the layers in white and color them with Copics or watercolors. Love all the possibilities!!! Great projects :-)
