Picket Fence Studios has a wonderful release for March, and I am happy to share two cards with with you today! The first card features the Slice of Wood stamp. It’s perfect for background stamping (especially for masculine cards). I stamped Slice of Wood on kraft cardstock in brown Distress Oxide ink. I gave it a light spritz with water, and flicked on some additional splatters of ink. I stamped the Boho Bull image on heavyweight cardstock with Black Hybrid ink and used the Boho Bull coordinating die to diecut the colored image. I added a pretty paper flower to coordinate with the strip of patterned paper, and added faux stitching for fun.
The second card features the Wild Rose Bouquet and the Petite Cup die. I started by stamping the wild rose image on watercolor paper and colored the image with waterbased markers. I used the tea cup die to cut out a Petite Cup shape painted with the lovely roses. I added some pretty paper flowers, a twine bow and a pretty green button for embellishment.
While you’re here, leave me a comment and let me know which one of my cards you like better... I have a $15 (USD) Picket Fence Studios gift certificate to give away to one lucky blog reader, and I’d like the winner to be you! There’s free shipping to US addresses on orders from the Picket Fence Studios website, so the gift certificate can go completely towards new goodies if the order is shipped to a US address. Yay!

Teacups always make my heart happy so I definitely have to go with the Wild Rose Bouquet/Petite Cup card, it's gorgeous! Although the Boho Bull/Wood Slice are coming in a close 2nd lol. Great job on both and thanks for the inspiration :)

This is just wrong! How am I supposed to pick between two Awesome Anna creations? Although I have a crazy love of roses, I am opting for the skull on the wood slice, if I must pick one. I am trying to get out of my normal, predictable box. Your teacup is totally darling and coloring roses is always a joy. Thinking of the possibilities with the chunk of wood. That skull is pretty cool, too. The softer greens are a nice touch. Happy Weekend says the girl who's watching it s-n-o-w.

I love both of your cards, I love the color combinations that you used. My favorite would have to be the one with the wood slice!!! My daughter has a master's in environmental science with a focus on ecology so I could make her lots of cards and scrapbook pages using this stamp!!! Thank you so much for sharing your awesome talents!!!
