Impression Obsession: Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop (Day 3)

Welcome to Day 3 of 3, of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop! I created a tag for today, using Deer Snowglobe and Patchwork Holly. I die cut the snowglobe from silver paper, and again from blue cardstock that was already adhered to watercolor paper.

Since the silver layer was die cut from a single sheet, it was easy to remove the cut shape from the paper. Since the blue cardstock was adhered to watercolor paper, the outer edge of the die cut through, but the intricate details of the die did not cut all the way through, making a perfect layering "backing" for my tag. I used markers to add a gradient to the blue cardstock and then adhered the silver die cut shapes in place. A button and twine were used to accent to die cut holly leaves, and a twine tie was added to the top. This is a quick and beautiful project that will certainly come in handy for holiday gift wrapping!

Impression Obsession: Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop (Day 2)

Welcome to Day 2 of 3, of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop! I created a fun pencil treat packet, using Bat with Sign and Number Set. I created a small open topped box from purple colored cardstock, and filled it with Halloween themed pencils. I adhered the bat with googlie eyes, Boo! sign, and numbers to the front of the box.

Some silver holiday ribbon seemed like the perfect edge for the top of the box. This is a quick and easy project that will certainly come in handy for trick-or-treaters!

Impression Obsession: Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop (Day 1)

Welcome to Day 1 of 3, of the Impression Obsession Fall/Winter Die Blog Hop! I created a tag for today, using Mitten and Patchwork Holly. I simply die cut the mitten from an oatmeal colored cardstock, and holly leaves from a nice sage colored cardstock. I inked the edges of all the pieces with brown Distress Ink, and adhered them to a simple blue folded tag. A button and twine were used to adhere the tie. This is a quick and easy project that will certainly come in handy for holiday gift wrapping!

Impression Obsession: To Die For

A new challenge is being shared today on the Impression Obsession Blog, and I hope you join the fun! The challenge is To Die For (die cuts)! Pull out your Impression Obsession stamps and/or dies, and join us!

The card I created for today's hop uses the Patchwork Leaves (DIE491-U) die set. I used the set to die cut several colors of cardstock and grouped the leaves on the front of the card. The sentiment was created with the Give Thanks (DIE438-H) die.

Impression Obsession and MISTI Hop!

Today I'm participating in the Impressions Obsession and My Sweet Petunia Blog Hop! I'm featuring the cute Christmas Cookies image and Merry Christmas sentiment from Impression Obsession and the fantastic MISTI from My Sweet Petunia. The image and sentiment are stamped in black Memento ink and colored with alcohol markers. I added Stardust Stickles for lots of sparkle and shine!

I used the MISTI to stamp the sentiment perfectly in place under the image. Because the MISTI allows for perfect multiple-time stamping, I was able to stamp the sentiment twice and get a perfect impression.

Impression Obsession: Fall Birthdays

A new challenge is being shared today on the Impression Obsession Blog, and I hope you join the fun! The challenge is Fall Birthdays! Pull out your Impression Obsession stamps and/or dies, and join us!

The card I created for today's hop uses Pumpkin Line (D19276) stamped repeatedly on white card stock to create a background image. The image is stamped in black Memento ink, colored with alcohol markers. I also used Mr. P. Umpkin and gave her a special gem-topped party hat and fancy gold balloon using Balloons die set.
