Welcome to the Impression Obsession 2016 Summer Die Blog Hop! Today I'm gettin' splashy with the adorable Patchwork Whale! To make my card, I die cut the whale from cream colored card stock and colored with alcohol markers. I die cut a white frame using the Rectangle 6-in-1 Frames die set, and two frames from dark blue card stock using the All-in-One Rectangles #2 die set. I set the scene on a piece of patterned paper.
I love the stitching detail around all the pieces of the whale -- even his water sprays have stitched detailing -- Cute! I popped the head and tail of the whale up using foam adhesive, for a bit of dimension.

Oh what a cute little whale card !!! Just love this. I would use a message inside that says, "Spouting Good News. It's a Boy!" Wouldn't that be a great card to send out announcing the birth of a new baby boy ?

Wow, Nice to find your blog, I see so many links to your art that I want to explore. I just love the Whale, and how it pops up to see the world above water and wala! it sees some zentangle! envelope! my favorite pattern to draw. looking like a bridge with mountains in the background, my mind is going crazy with whaleisms, "Whale you here, be sure to look me up." Whale Im here I was sure to comment. hee hee.
