Hello, hello!! I'm excited to be the August Guest Designer for Crazy 4 Challenges, a group of friends that host weekly challenges on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog.
This week we're making cards based on this sketch. It's a great sketch, and I hope you join us!
My card is 4.25" square, and features an adorable dog image from Stamps By Judith & Heather (G-135-HK). I bought it at a stamp/scrap convention, so if you happen by their booth at a show, check out their fun dog (and other critter) images! The sentiment is from an older (2007) Stampin' Up! wood mount set, and I'm sorry but I don't recall the name of the set. It's a cutie, though!
I stamped the dog in black Memento ink and colored him up with ShinHan Touch Twin markers. I die cut the oval shapes with the Deckled Oval, and Scalloped Oval dies from Spellbinders. The banners I used for the sentiment are double ended fishtail banners from MFT. The designer papers are from October Afternoon (a personal favorite!), and the white card base is from Neenah. The self-adhesive gems I used are from Studio G.
