There is something seriously wrong with the weather... 10 degrees hotter in Washington than in Texas!? Good grief...

To create my card I stamped Dominic in black Memento ink and colored him with ShinHan Touch Twin markers. I added ultra fine glitter to the butterfly net, for lots of sparkle and shine! I used the Clouds die set to create some dimensional clouds for my card. I stamped Happy Birthday on the base of the card.

A few more wild friends...

Here are a few photos I've taken over the past few days of visitors to the yard in the evening while I'm enjoying dinner out on the patio. This is a Cedar Waxwing. There were two of them enjoying a shower in a sprinkler I had running on one of the flowerbeds. Such a beautiful bird!

We have lots of American Goldfinch visiting the feeders. I think they are nesting in the tall trees down near the barn. This one came to rest on a branch near the feeders...

...and this one, on the hook the feeder hangs from. I am really enjoying feeding the wild birds this year.
