Welcome to day 1 (of 3) of the Impression Obsession 2015 Spring Die Blog Hop! Over the next 3 days we will be sharing projects made with beautiful new dies, and there will be gift certificates given away each day! Yay!
For my card, I chose to use the amazing Ornate Rectangle Frame, as well as the equally amazing Roosters & Chickens set (you KNOW how much I love this set, already!!).
I die cut the ornate frame from black card stock, and decided to leave the intricate pieces of the die cut in place. It gives the frame a really cool embossed, or carved, look to it. I also die cut the ornate frame from cute red and cream colored gingham designer paper. I used only the inside mat piece of the frame, to give visual interest to the card design. I die cut the rooster from black card stock and popped him up on foam adhesive for a bit of dimension.
Blog Hop Details:
The hop will start each day (March 9th - 11th) with a list of participants on the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am EST. Each day, visit the Impression Obsession blog. Then, hop along to see participating IO Design Team projects. Leave one comment on each blog you visit. The more blogs you visit (and comment on) each day, the better chance you will have to win a $25 Impression Obsession Gift Certificate!
All of the new dies you'll be seeing on the hop are available now! Visit the Impression Obsession website for details.
Today’s hop list!
