The single most rewarding result of writing this blog is the people I've gotten to know through comments, emails, and crafty events (virtual and actual). Some of you have been reading my blog for years, and though we've never met, I consider you wonderful friends.
This beyond-adorable Christmas Goose wool felt ornament was a gift, handmade by long-time blog reader, and friend, Troy. I just *had* to share it with you!! In her letter to me she said she found the pattern in an old book and knew it was the perfect gift to make and share with me. How delightful! And how LUCKY for me!! This wool felt goose is truly remarkable.
Troy, your hand work is beautiful. Perfect little stitches, beads, and the flower detail is perfection.
I love, love, LOVE my new little goose, and look forward to her blessing our home for many years to come! THANK YOU!
This is adorable! YOu have great friends. :)

What fun! I agree, Anna. There are people I've only know by blogging but they are truly friends. Many are on my list for in-person visits when retired and healthy. We at least know that if the conversation lulls, there are scrap studios to be enjoyed!
Merry Christmas, Blog Friend!
Contrast to Troy for this darling goose, nice work!

As I look at it I'm wondering how old that book is and how awful it would be if I tried to come up with my own pattern.... her felt is just so white!
