I did a little crafting today and created this tall, thin snowman to add to our holiday decor. All he needs now is his nose, which long-time blog reader and friend Yvonne is sending along - Thanks Yvonne!! This fella can't wait to smell sugar cookies and hot cocoa!
His body is made from tea dyed muslin. His hat is made from a beautiful black and grey plaid flannel, and his scarf is a strip of festive homespun. I sewed rusty old bells to his belly, and hand stitched his eyes and smile. On his hip, I added a small little pocket so that I could tuck some pip berry and evergreen sprigs, as well as a glittery branch and little tin star.
I LOVE SNOWMEN! *grin*

Very cute and cozy. But tell me how does one ship a nose? LOL

Oh this guy is adorable. With the cold up there he probably won't melt! Are you adjusting to the much colder weather? Thanks for inspiring me to get out the holiday fabric.
