Today was 79 degrees and it rained almost 2". To celebrate such a wonderful day 2 of summer, I picked some of the sunflowers from the garden for the kitchen window. They make me smile!

I love the flowers! What app do you use to get the effect on the pictures? Instagram makes the pictures square but yours are rectangular! I love them!

The sunflowers look so nice in the window. I only have the ones the birds planted this year. A big storm last week laid the over. They are now beginning to climb to the sun again!
Last year hubby tried to make dill pickles. Used a vague handwritten recipe of his Grandmothers. I was not real happy with the cloudy results and lack of crispness. Got any tips. I even decided to grow some dill this summer.

As new bride of 19 years old, I canned my first dill pickles.....in the pressure canner! Yikes!
