A new challenge is being shared today on the Impression Obsession Blog, and I hope you join the fun! The challenge is Masculine Cards! Pull out your creativity, and join us!
For my card, I chose to use the Feather 1 die, along with the Script Cover-a-Card stamp. To create the background, I did a smooshy and splattered watercolor background using Distress inks, and then stamped the Script stamp over top of the watercolored background, using the same inks.
I die cut the feathers from another piece of watercolor paper that I did the same smooshy watercolor technique on, only in shades of blue/green, and blue/purple. A mother of pearl button from my stash is embellished with hemp cord.
Find all the details on how to enter the challenge on the Impression Obsession Blog. A random challenge entry will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Now, get ready for a wonderful dose of inspiration and check out what the other team members created for the challenge. Have fun!!

Smooshy??? I'm getting old and the new fangled technical terms used today are just amazing. Very macho though, but you gotta get some fly fishing / casting stuff going..yup I can see some shadow casting off of a big rock in siloette or something gnarly like that...... You bet!

I *love* this! I hear feathers are "in." It's so neat to see these cards that are a different technique/layout than your "cute" cards. Stay cool!
