A new challenge is being shared today on the Impression Obsession Blog, and I hope you join the fun! The challenge is a color challenge, and this week we are featuring Green!
For my card, I've chosen to use several dies to create this springtime scene. I wanted the trees to be dark so I used black card stock. This makes the bright green leaves really pop! Behind the trees is a pretty, earthy sage green card stock -- one of my favorite colors! A newly blooming shrub partially hides a little brown bunny, and bluebirds sing in the trees.
For the background of the card, I stamped the Script Cover-a-Card stamp on kraft colored cardstock with brown Distress ink. Spritzing the inked stamp with water just before stamping it on the paper gives the stamped image a neat vintage "inky" appearance.
Find all the details on how to enter the challenge on the Impression Obsession Blog. A random challenge entry will be selected to showcase on the IO blog and you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
Now, get ready for a wonderful dose of inspiration and check out what the other team members created for the challenge. Have fun!!

Cool card, I love those trees. They remind me of birch. The Eastern Bluebirds may be my favorite bird! And the sage green... the color of my kitchen. Did I say I like this card? I LOVE it !
