Welcome to Day 5, the final day of the Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Release Designer Hop. I hope you have enjoyed the hop this week, and all the wonderful projects that have been shared. Don't forget that gift certificates have been given away each day this week on the IO blog! Did you win? Find all the details on the Impression Obsession Blog.
For today's project, I chose to use Lavender and Leap of Faith to create my card. I started by stamping the image and sentiment onto heavy watercolor paper with black StazOn ink. Once the image and sentiment were dried, I dampened the paper with water and painted the image using various colors of Stampin' Up re-inkers. By dampening the paper, the color of the flowers was able to feather and flow freely on the page giving a very soft look to the painted area. I added a pretty shell button and some twine for a little added detail. Click on the image for a larger view.
Thanks for visiting!! Now, scoot on along to see what the other designers have shared for today!
Today’s hop list!
