Welcome to Day 4 of the Impression Obsession 2014 Spring Release Designer Hop! I hope you have time to participate in the hop. Beautiful projects will be shared AND gift certificates will be given away each day this week on the IO blog! The hop will start each day at the Impression Obsession Blog at 6am EST with a list of participants on for the day. Find all the details of the hop there.
For today's project, I chose to use Rose Typographie and Single Bloom Rose Stem to create my card. I started by stamping the typographie image on heavy watercolor paper using brown StazOn ink. I inked the paper with various shades of brown distress ink. I then stamped the rose bloom on a separate piece of watercolor paper, and cut the image out. I painted the image using various colors of Stampin' Up re-inkers, inked all edges, and added a nice shadow underneath where the rose would be placed. I distressed the edges of the watercolor paper as well as the black mat behind the stamped layer. I added a soft black seam binding bow to the stem of the rose.
Thanks for visiting!! Now, scoot on along to see what the other designers have shared for today!
Today’s hop list!
