A few more photos from today's little ice event... this is netting around one of my garden beds.
Pretty cool how there are little openings between each of the weaves!
Tomato vine. This is one way to chill your veggies!
And finally, the trees behind the garden. I hope they don't snap ... and I really hope the trees behind the chicken house don't snap -- they'd take down the covered chicken yard in a hurry! Ack!

Wow! You don't often get weather like that down there! Here in MO we are seeing snow like we used to get in Montana. Light fluffy stuff that is not melting - very unusual for here. Stay warm :)

Did you make it through the night without any damage? Your chicken coop still standing? Thinking about you and your four legged babies. Did you get the email I sent to you yesterday? Hugs to you. Robin B.

We rec'd the same thing in Arkansas except our trees snapped like a twig! Heavy damage to at least 4 trees.....sad face....!

Such fleeting beauty and it will only last a day or two. Just think what you could do with some water color dyes!

Just stay off the highways down there. I'm glad it wont last for more than a day or so. My guess you are the only person in miles that has ever spent any length of time driving in snow and icy conditions for more than a day or two and has decent tires on their 4x4. You do have all season tires on?

Brrr. Are the animals enjoying it?

Wow, Anna! The ice is spectacular! I hope your trees don't snap, too!
