Alan found a nest made of twigs and leaves that Thelma (one of our Brown African Geese) made. And in it, a pretty white goose egg! I love how her nest is complete with one squeaky dog toy, one plastic scoop, and 8 inches of green cording. Looks like she found some treasures she wanted to decorate her nest with.
At least now we know we have a Thelma, and perhaps either a Louise, or a Luis. *grin*

I was reading your post to my hubby, who grew up on a farm, and asking him why a goose would add those things to a nest. He said their geese never did that. Then he laughed and said, "Maybe Thelma is getting toys ready for the babies". :)

Isn't that fun! Of course, I'm rooting for Louise. Love the treasures she added to the nest.

Is it fertile? Will you let her hatch it? (I like the nail art, too!)
