For two months in 2010 I kept track of the number of eggs gathered daily from the ladies. I've been asked if I'd do it again -- seems it was enjoyed -- so, I thought, why not!? Let the counting begin!
I will continue to update this post. You can find it in the Categories list on the right side of my blog under Egg Count.

That's some serious egg production! Are you able to sell all that you don't need?

35 eggs a day will add up FAST! I don't imagine yoy can use them all yourself. Do you have a side egg business?

Thats a good question, Janet! I plan to do a count this weekend. Best to do it at night, when theyre snoozing. :)
I will update the post with that info once I have the count done.
Cluck, cluck!

How many hens do you have laying this year? The count is lower than last year. I am just curious. :D

It is such fun to vicariously watch the daily egg gathering from your ladies. Such a beautiful variety of sizes and colors. Thanks for humoring your readers with your egg count! :)

Those are so pretty! It's been decades since I gathered eggs from a hen house, but I still remember it. What fun! And your girls are so sweet and you KNOW them! That has GOT to be wonderful. I'm sure your customers are thrilled to be getting fresh eggs again! WHAT A TREAT! :D
