Taylored Expressions January Release Day: Hugs & Kisses

Today is release day for the new January stamps and dies at Taylored Expressions, and I've got a lovey dovey project to share with you. I created this card using the new Hugs & Kisses stamp set and coordinating jar die. I LOVE this jar stamp and am thrilled that the set comes with a coordinating die for the jar!

I can think of so many fun ideas for this set not only for Valentine's Day, but for summertime canning tags and labels, tags for homemade goods, and the jar could even be vintage'd up and used as a tag on a gift bag of old timey candies! Oh yes, I see lots of sweet gifts for friends in my future.

The "XO" stamp I used inside the jar is separate from the jar stamp, so you can fill your jar with anything you'd like. For Valentine's Day, hugs and kisses seemed most appropriate. I gave the X's and O's a healthy coating of glitter, because really, who doesn't love hugs and kisses that sparkle!?

The tag on the jar was made with one of the new Designer Mini Tags dies, and the Love sentiment is from the Rose Bouquet stamp set. I cleverly placed a "u" from the designer paper on the backside of the tag, so it would show through the heart shaped hole that's cut in the tag. The papers used on this project are from BoBunny, and I think they're just as cute as can be.
