I decided to pull out a few "oldies but goodies" for this project. The main image is a stamp by Stampassions called "Patchwork Sampler". I like the simplistic illustrations set within the quilted sampler. It's not picking up well, but there are lots of pale country blues in this image. The background paper was created using Stampin' Up!'s background stamp "Ticking" and Ranger's Gathered Twigs Distress Ink. Love that stuff!
Happy Friday!
Supplies:
Stamp: Stampassions
Ink: Memento Black, Ranger Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Gathered Twigs
Paper: Neenah, Stampin' Up!, Paper Accents
Shinhan Touch Twin markers: R1, R2, GY175, GY174, PB144, PB185, Y36, YR32, YR21, BR96
Studio G (Hampton Art) glitter glue
May Arts twine
Tracing Wheel

Perfect! This looks so much like you. Love your warm, country style!

I love the simplicity of this card. Now a days it seems that almost everyone is trying to get every embellishment they have on each card they make. I love the days when cards were simpler (and more cost effective) and the artist's stamping and coloring techniques were the focus instead of the embellishments. I do like to see embellishments, but more often than not, simpler is prettier.

I love this stamp ~ might have to do an Ebay Search for it :) And it seems you always have the most perfect twine, and of course buttons, for all your projects!
PS: Give my gal-pal Betty some cookies from me and I'll feed the baby cow tonight xox
