A blog post I wrote about one of our egg-eating snake incidents was re-published on Community Chickens, a website published by Ogden Publications, who bring us great magazines such as Mother Earth News, Grit, Utne Reader, etc.
You can read the article on the Community Chickens site here, and you will find my original post (which shows more photos) here.
Groovy!
Awesome! You deserve to have the post published just for living through the ordeal!

Oh, how cool is that? Those photos were so neat to see. Some egg-eating snakes have teeth in the back of their throats that pierce the egg so it collapses and is easier to swallow.

I have never seen her on a pair of Ice skates.....but she's hell on skis with a snowmobile, Robb_eeie, That would be a real hoot! (skates) or a train wreck.... Still not enough white stuff for the snow machine tho. Love, Dad

Congrats on getting your story published. (This is not your 1st is it?) That snake gave me the willies, I would NOT have taken time to get a camera OR stand by and watch. I would have reacted much more like the ducks and chickens did. LOL.
