Sorry for the lack of activity here on the blog this past week. Work has been rather busy, and unfortunately I've been feeling sicky this weekend. Just my luck ... busted a three day weekend feeling blah. But I've got several projects in progress, so hopefully in the next few days I can get some crafty goodness posted. Stay tuned!
In other news, the ladies have been laying pretty eggs for us. Oh, and speaking of ladies, I have a small order (10) of baby chickens arriving next week! Our neighbor and I split an order of chicks, and I can't wait for the little fluff balls to arrive! I ordered a variety of Polish chicks, and some standard sized Cochins. They're going to be so CUTE!!
Alan said he saw a bluebird outside today, and I watched a pair of them flit around in a tree just outside the living room window. Spring must be on her way!
Such perfect eggs! Can't wait to get home to see the bluebirds flying in the yard! Hoping you are better by now! Can't wait to see new projects!

That does stink to be sick over the 3-day weekend! My youngest kiddo was too and is just today going back to school. On the bright side, looks like today will be a gorgeous Texas day :)
Did your cutie-pie calf get a name yet?

What a sweet little nest of eggs! We have daffodils and tulips poking through the ground here, so I think you're right about spring. Get well soon!

Do you get Eastern or Mountain Bluebirds? Do you have a Bluebird trail?

OMGosh, bluebirds? I thought they were all but wiped out. I would love to see one in the wild. I just love them. Love your blog and living the farm life vicariously through you. Without all the work :-}
