Texas Fire Update

Thank you for all of the emails and comments you've left wanting to know if the Texas wildfires are burning near us or putting us in danger. I'm happy to say that no, they are not near us, and we are fine.

Our farm is located in central Texas. There are fires south of us near Austin, northwest of us west of Fort Worth, and northeast of us east of Dallas. The sky is filled with smoke, but thankfully none of the current fires pose any threat to us or our farm.

We've had a hard enough summer without the threat of wildfire, too. Not everyone is so lucky though, and we hope the fires are contained quickly, and safely for all involved.

Fires make me nervous, no matter where they are. I am glad these are not too near. I bet the smoke is a problem all on it's own. We still pray for rain for those in the dry SW. Hugs...
