When I posted the video of my workspace area, I had a request to share how I store and organize my stamps. Soooo, here you go!
If you have trouble viewing this video here on the blog, you can check it out here on my YouTube Channel.
The large containers I use for my Stampin' Up sets are Stampendous THICKER Stuftainers. They are organized by line art style, and theme. I also use the Stampendous THIN Stuftainers for images I have on cling mount (which isn't all that many).
I keep my Whipper Snapper cling mount sets (which are in their original product CD cases) stored in CD storage boxes, organized by theme. I bought the CD storage cases at Target several years ago on clearance. I'd love to have 1 more!
I keep clear sets and unmounted red rubber stamps in standard white 3-ring binders, organized by manufacturer. Because I am (or was) a designer for various companies, it's important for me to keep some company stamps all together (example: High Hopes, Crafty Secrets, Whipper Snapper Designs).
In the binders I use various sized page protector sleeves. The 2-pocket 5x7 sleeves,9-pocket baseball card sleeves, and the 3-pocket long sleeves are ULTRA-Pro products used for safely storing sports memorabilia. (Links below.) The full-sized sleeves are a heavy duty Avery sleeve. I use heavy duty clear 3M write-on transparency sheets to adhere the unmounted red rubber stamps using Alene's Tack It Over glue, and inexpensive white cardstock for stability in the pockets.
All of these items can be found on Amazon at the following links:
Stampendous Thicker Storage Solutions (5 containers)
Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over Glue
Ultra Pro 9-Pocket Trading Card Pages
Avery Diamond Clear Heavyweight Sheet Protectors
3M - Transparency Sheets (WRITE-ON)
Hope this is helpful!
Happy Sunday!!

Thank you for taking the time to post the link...muahhh!

Anna, Thanks so much for giving such a great view of your stamp storage genius! I use the Thicker containers too but I especially like the way you store your Stampin Up sets mixed together. You've given me some really good ideas to get me motivated to clean up my space. Thanks SO much :-)

You can get very similar CD storage containers from IKEA for cheap. If there isn't one near you, they shouldn't even cost that much to ship as they pack almost flat. (im fortunate to have 2 within driving distance living near Toronto!) They are sturdy though. look for Kasset boxes! HTH!!

Hey, this knocks the heck out of my "toss into a box" organizational practice. :) Seriously, thank you for the binder idea. I love it.
But I still feel like I am misssing something. How do I use the rubber stamps with no backing? Do they "cling" to an clear block or do I need glue? Thanks! And love the video!

What great ideas, Anna! I have hundreds of Rubbernecker and Stampavie images that are stored in ziplock bags and in boxes. It is so hard to find what I want. I have never thought of separating out my existing SU sets but it is such a great idea as they take up so much room. Can you come to my hosue for a week and help me get organized? LOL!

That is a beautiful thing! I really need to adopt some of these ideas! TFS!!

ok, i've said it before and i'll say it again... you are AMAZING! :) what would it cost me to have you come visit for the weekend and organize my room!? :) you have a TON of stamps! :) does flipping through everything for us make you find things you forgot you had? Do you like the 9 pocket protectors or the cd cases? i am getting quite a collection of those little dollar stamp sets and was going to put them together in the cd cases, but after seeing them in the 9 pocket protectors, I think that might be a good idea too.
