Because we all need a little SUNSHINE in our life, here's a sunny Ranunculus for you.
Happy Thursday!

What a fabulous blast of sunshine to brighten up a grey week here in Ireland. I love those flowers - but the only time I grew them the slugs liked them too.
Hi Jessica!
Thanks! You know, I took that photo soooo many years ago (pre-digital), that it must have been taken with either a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro, or a series of closeup filters (which are kind of like looking through your lens AND the bottom of a coke bottle). :)
At the time this photo was taken, I was taking a LOT of flower photos, but theyre all on slide-film (as opposed to negative or digital), and the technical details arent very handy right now for me to look up any more specific details for you.
At the time I was shooting sometimes with a Canon 100mm 2.8 macro, and sometimes with closeup filters, so the photo could truly have been taken with either setup.
If I were a betting girl (which I am NOT, because I never win), Id say 100mm 2.8 macro. :)
BEAUTIFUL, a very sunny yellow.
today is cool and overcast. A nice break from the hot and humid weather. Still wanting a little bit o rain!
Have a terrific Thursday, hugs...

Absolutely beautiful! Did you use a specific macro lens? (I am an amateur photographer and am just trying to learn as much as possible) :)
