I have another Crafty Secrets project to share with you today. This card was very easy to put together, since the image on the journaling panel was already colored for me! I cut the long journaling image from the Merry Christmas Creative Scraps page, stamped a sentiment from the Christmas Mail clear stamp set, and added glitter using a clear-drying adhesive, and ultra-fine glitter. I set the journaling strip on a red & white striped sheet of October Afternoon paper (found in the 8x8 Seaside paper pad). I scalloped the edge of the red & white paper using an EK Success scalloped edge paper punch.
I made one of my favorite embellishments, a crystal snowflake, using two different sized paper punches, clear-drying adhesive, and glass glitter. I added a button with string to the top of the snowflake using a good, strong craft glue.

Such a lovely sparkly card!

Beautiful! It reminds me of the '60s when I was a little girl! And those snowflakes you make are just gorgeous! :D

Another muff! I'm in love with that sweet little girl and the old-fashioned font of the sentiment. Beautiful snowflake embellishment too!

I just LOVE these kind of cards. I just made a couple of Christmas cards this week with some Crafty Secrets images, too. What's fun about these is that you have more time to embellish with glitter and such. Thanks for sharing your "secrets" with us. :D

Hmmm!!! Gaiters, huh?!! I guess I learned my fact for the day, plus I got to see some beautiful creativity that is always inspiring. A lady pm'd me on SCS about coloring with white on kraft so I linked her up with your video tutorial--she should be all set!
