I love snowmen. Snowmen of all kinds. Tall and short. Fat and thin, cute and vintage. I love them all. I always include a few snowman images in the January Whipper Snapper image release, and well, let's just say that this *might* just be a sneak peak at a fella you'll see in rubber in early 2011! How's that for an extended teaser?! I couldn't wait to share him. *grin* The sentiment and snowflake stamp I used on this card are from my Think Snow cling set, from Whipper Snapper.
I thought I would whip up this charming tag not only to give you a peek at my new snowman, but to also remind you about my crystal snowflake tutorial! I started creating layered crystal snowflakes for the 2008 holiday season and they were a big hit! The crystal snowflake tutorial page continues to be one of the most popular pages of my blog.
Here are a few projects I created that showcase my snowflakes; links to the original post about the project included below each photo.
Get ready to dust off those snowflake punches, dig out the crystal glitter, and have yourself some FUN!

They are gorgeous, classy, rustic, and oh so much fun to make! I love adding these to all of my winter projects! Thanks for sharing your awesome ideas Anna!

It's a mystery to me how you can illustrate so many snowmen, and they're all different, and I love and want them all. Thanks for the tutorial on making your snowflakes--now I need a snowflake punch and the right kind of glitter. :)

I love snowmen, too... Most of my holiday decorations are snowmen. I've been trying to add a variety of other things the last couple of years.

Such awesome projects today--love them all. Don't mind using snowflake punches as long as the real stuff doesn't come till next year and then for just a short visit. We are having Indian Summer and I just love it.
Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! - Love your snowman tag. In fact I loved all the snowflakes you created last winter. I need to get a nice snowflake punch or die and try my hand at creating a sparkly snowflake like yours. They are awesome.
Have a wonderful day. Hugs

Ha ha! Just clicked on the link of my favorite snowflake above--the oh-so-gorgeous "reindeer delivery" one--to read that you think truffles look like reindeer droppings. Will never be able to look at truffles the same way again!! :) Thanks for the laugh and for sharing the snowflakes--can hardly wait to try to make some for teacher gifts. Happy birthday!

Me again! One poster wanted to see photo's of our crafting space. This is a general overview of mine; I have more in my gallery: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1373942?&cat=500&ppuser=69265 and this is my spellbinder storage: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1392175?&cat=500&ppuser=69265. I am such a basic linker and even that is a challenge so I hope these work!

How very cool and sweet to see your dad's comment posted here, Anna.
FINALLY, today's the day,
May I be just one to say,
Enjoy it in the nicest way,
HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ANNA!!
LOVE your snowman in his rustic style and colors and as I type, there is a snowman gift card sitting in my craft room just waiting for the big snowflake on his hat to be glittered up "a la Anna". Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful talents with us...Hugs~Michele

I adore snowmen. My house is full of them at winter. The christmas tree only has snowmen ornaments, too. (That way I do not feel rushed to take it down!) Who cares if it is up until mid Febuary *grin*
Cool snowflakes. Thanks for the reminder and posting the fabulous tutorial again.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUGS for across the miles...
