Over the weekend I spent more time crafting. I've got lots of projects ready to share with you over the next few days! I made several supportive cards using my Think Pink cling set. For this card, I also chose to use my Wildflower Silhouette cling set to stamp some solid Texas Bluebonnets in the background. I added mega-sparkle to a little punched out butterfly for LOTS of sparkle and shine! I love the soft colors -- kind of dreamy, aren't they?!
There's a month-long partnership between SplitCoastStampers and MD Anderson Cancer Center, encouraging papercrafters to support the cause and send cards of encouragement to the MD Anderson Cancer Center. You can find more details, and get involved, here.
One of the things I like most about the Think Pink set, is that even though the underlying theme is breast cancer awareness and support, you really can use the set to offer support for whichever ribbon color you choose. I used the set to create two projects in support of ovarian cancer, using teal as my primary color, paired with pretty creams and sparkles.
Using the lovely October Afternoon papers made putting these projects together quite simple. Unfortunately, what you can't see in the photos is the overall shimmer I gave the cards! Glimmer Mist to the rescue!
You can find information on awareness ribbon colors here.

These are just beautiful, Anna. Sorry I missed your birthday - - looks like you had a grand celebration!

These are so pretty & what a nice idea for a great cause. I lost my Mom to that wicked cancer & like to do what I can to support those in need - the card idea is a good one. Thanks for letting us know & for your beautiful stamp sets.

Hmmm, I have an awareness ribbon (solid to stamp in any color I want) and lots of pink bellies. Will have to make some pretty pink cards.

A bevvy of beauties, Anna. I have your "Bee-lieve in a cure" set winging its way over to Canada as I'm typing. Should arrive in time to craft up something in this awareness month. I do know someone who would benefit from a little "boo-bee" support and humor. Thanks for creating for the cure!
