Welcome to "Just A Blog Hop!" If you came here from Lori Craig's blog then you're on the right track. If not, then you'll want to head over to Jami Sibley's blog to start the hop from the beginning.
A group of designers were invited to put aside all of our stamping oriented obligations and deadlines and create something just for fun. The hop guidelines were simple: choose a challenge to play and choose either a new uninked stamp or an old favorite. Create a card and mail it to someone. What could be better to celebrate World Card making day (which is today, by the way!)?
I chose to use one of my all-time favorite stamps, this cute floral image from Hero Arts. I love the loose image lines, and well, zinnias are among my favorite flowers! A friend of mine is celebrating a birthday soon, so this little number will be popped in the mail to her, just in time!
The challenge I chose to use is from this week's Clean and Simple (CAS) challenge forum, at SplitCoastStampers. This week the CAS challenge was a sketch which we were to use as a starting point for our card. You will find all the details of the challenge here. If you like challenges and want some super inspiration, get in there and have some fun!
Next stop on the hop is the always beautiful, and ever-so-wonderful Jenn Balcer. ENJOY!
PS: If Jenn doesn't have her card posted yet, hop to Jackie Pedro's blog.
Have a wonderful day!

Wow! Super cute! Love how the mat for the main image has polka dots that match the horizontal panel of designer paper.

I just love how you can combine CAS with a little country shabby for the perfect mix! Thanks so much for playing today!
PS Jenn's post is there, but there is something funky going on with her blog and it's not showing up unless you use the direct link

This totally made me smile. LOVE the CAS layout, but your extra little details like twine and button. I know why this is one of your favorites! :) Happy WCMD!

They do look like zinnia's. I am always surprised that you have any stamps but your own or just draw the image you need! Have a wonderful weekend, hugs....
