In response to those who played along in the recent "What Am I?" photo post:

 
For those of you who guessed "CUCUMBER", you were RIGHT! The fruits grow at the base of a pollinated female flower. Here's hoping I get lots and LOTS of pollinated female flowers! *grin*

 
That little fruit is the start of a pickling cucumber on one of my vines! Yeah! They're GROWING!

I knew that was gonna be a pickle when it's finished! *LOL* Picklin' cukes are always bumpier than "regular" cucumbers. Makes my mouth water for great grammas bread n butter pickles!
