I always enjoy the A Muse/Hero Arts Designer Swap weeks. It's great to see what kinds of fun they dream up! Earlier this week, a cute project was shared on the A Muse blog. They shared a tutorial too, so check it out! I thought I'd make my own, and I'm glad I did! This little project was fun!
This small card has an accordion fold in the center, giving a bit more "room" for whatever you might want to include on the inside. For my front and back cover, I die-cut a very light weight chipboard, probably the chipboard backside from a package of 12x12 paper. Then I decorated the die-cut shapes with images from Beautiful Day, and used a sentiment from Think Happy Thoughts.
I added LOTS of glitter to the flower, and used a thin white glue that dries clear as the adhesive. I wanted the glue to provide a bit more strength to the flower since it was going to be popped up on foam adhesive. Worked like a charm!
On the backside, I added a signature image from my Whipper Snapper cling set called Signature Series. This is one set that never leaves my work space!
TGIF!
i love your images! i just know i wouldn't be able to do them justice to color them!! LOVE your work!!!
