I worked on a fun custom project for my friend, Diane, this week. Diane wanted a "chicken" themed quilted wallet and coordinating zippy, so I put this little number together for her (sorry, no photos of the zippy, yet).
Diane has a warm, friendly personality, so I chose the cheery colors of this chicken fabric line.
I used strips (varying the width) of several prints from the fabric series to create a patchwork design, and then quilted the pieces.
Inside, there are lots of pockets (10 to be exact) for cards and cash -- perfect for a cheery addition to Diane's handbag!
Hope she loves it as much as I do!

I haven't stopped by in a long time, but so glad I did! These are adorable... will you be putting these in your etsy!? :)

Very cute!!! I love chickens, but not real ones. I live out in the country and my neighbor has them....very annoying!LOL Love your creations!!!

Cute, cute, cute! I am sure you have been asked this a dozen times, do you have a pattern? Or, BETTER YET, are you going to have these for sale? We have 35 chickens right now and this would be perfect! I am like you, they all have names....my husband just laughs when I name them, but they are my little feathery friends!

Hi Anna;
Happy Belated Birthday, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!! I see you have been doing some marvelous things! I LOVE your wallets, zippy purses, and potholder so very much. You remind me of my mom...she could do anything with anything and I find that super inspiring.
I hope you are doing very well. Things here are the same. We did move to a larger apt. on the ground floor with a patio so now I can get out in good weather. I'm so glad to finally be able to use my Jazzy chair without running into walls, LOL.
