I had fun this week designing this cute Valentine love bug pillow case and coordinating plush friend. It's all very pink, and very girly! There's a pocket on the front of the plush friend, perfect for slipping in notes, or hiding little secret treasures!
The pillow case is sized to fit a standard pillow. Designer pillow cases like this have been a staple in our family as long as I can remember. Everyone in the family has special pillow cases, made just for them. They make great gifts, too! I like to send them to young friends, for special occasions like Christmas, Easter, and birthdays.
The plush pillow friend is made from the same cotton prints as the pillow case, but is embellished with felt, lace, and assorted buttons to give it character. I added a cute felt heart to it's "rump" -- and stitched on a cute heart button from my stash!

These are so adorable. I love making pillowcases. I used to make them for my son, but unfortunately he seems to have outgrown the fun ones! Maybe I'll whip up a cute Valentine pair for hubby & myself. Hugs.

so cute! While I miss your cards lately I know those that sew are enjoying these amazing creations and the fabrics are just as awesome as the patterned papers you use on your cards.

ADORABLE... I have a friend they call the pillow case lady. She has her pillowcase club! Graduating students off to college. She sends them a pillow case at H.S. Graduation with a note that they will recieve one pillow case a month for a year. Each month has a theme. January snowmen, February hearts, etc... There are some really nifty cotton prints out there. She is always looking for her stash.
Do you have a good source for the really cool prints you have been using on your wallets, pouces and pillows? Can you share?
