Thank you, THANK YOU for all the wonderful notes you left for Alan while I was gone! I laughed and LAUGHED when I read his post! *snort* I can't BELIEVE he told you about me swimming with the chickens! Hahahaaa!! He's in so much trouble, now! Hahaaaa!!! Way too funny! And for all of you worried about Alan's beautiful quilt not being used, don't worry! It will be used by us, but critters are not allowed. No way, no how.
I had a wonderful time in California at the trade show. A BIG thank you to the Whipper Snapper family for bringing me along for the fun! The purpose of the trade show is for manufacturers to showcase their new products to retailers, and for retailers to place orders for their stores. Even though I wasn't the one doing the shopping, I had a GREAT time! I thought I would share a few of my favorite things with you...
My favorite new paper lines were from My Mind's Eye. Loved the colors, the textures, and the prints!
EK Success had OODLES of new punches -- I stopped to oooh and ahhhh over them several times, but only took this photo. Clearly I was distracted! The punch in this photo was actually a mini size! And worked like a CHARM! Punched through the heavy weight designer paper like a breeze!
More favorite papers from Core'dinations. They partnered with Cosmo Cricket and Jenny Bowlin to create embossed papers -- very cool!
I love BoBunny's double dot papers, and what's not to love about double dot ribbons, too!?
I also spent a great deal of time at the 7Gypsies booth. Yumm! I thought these little journals were particularly fun!
More great papers, this time from Basic Grey.
Basic Grey hit a home run with their Blush paper line ... and here's another home run with their Blush fabric line! *drool*
The Fruitcake line is another Basic Grey favorite... with yo-yo's even!
I picked up a lot of catalogs, and look forward to going through them one at a time to dream up all kinds of fun projects using this year's goods!

Yum! I love what you love! These are the most intriguing CHA photos I've seen yet!

That MME paper is yummy! LOVE those colors! And does the double dot ribbon mean that it has dots on both sides? Wouldn't that be awesome to tie bows with! Looks like BG displayed some great "man papers" too. Oh, and we missed you! (But Alan did a great job of keeping us entertained while you were gone.) Welcome home!

WELCOME HOME!!! I'm sure Alan is overjoyed to have you back on the farm!
Those fabrics are SOOOOOO beautiful! I didn't even know they had fabric lines! (I don't get out much LOL) That is just TOO fun!
So glad for you that it's Friday...I hope you have a FANTASTIC weekend! I have a busy day today, which is highly unusual. I'm off to get ready, but will be checking your blog all weekend in case you post some more pics! :D

Oh THANK you Anna for the update! I'm drooling over all of it! Truly! The new papers are gorgeous - the BG fabric might actually make me create one of those fabulous cloth flowers . . . Wow, oh, wow.
I'm glad you're home safely!
Hugs!

I went too. I kept looking for you and asked at several places I knew you would probably touch base....:( Would be kind of sad to see you there, when we live so close, but I still would have been glad! I too saw some of those great items you mentioned and LOVED them. The guy at EK said they had 78 new punches....so many GOOD ones too.

Oh Anna, I agree that meeting Celebrity Crafters is VERY fun at CHA. This was my first time and I truly wished that I had run into you. I have adored and admired your art for several years would have loved to have told you in person. By the way, my friends and I have been wondering about the pronunciation of your last name. Is it like WHITE or WIT? Thanks for all your inspiration, photos, cards and laughs over the past few years. Rubber Hugz, Jan in Tucson

Welcome home Anna, loved Alan's post was halarious and I love the fact you love your chickens so much if I had chickens I'd go swimming with mine to...LOL.. Just a small share for you..you have the same taste in products I do..my very first sewing project years ago was to make my kids yo yo dolls...I did that and over did the yo yo's and ended up making my son a yo yo blanket as well with all sorts of old cloths I tore up and also cool fabrics I found at a thrift shop..so your post today got me thinking I need a project and I have tons of antique fabrics mostly ticking fabric that I'm going to finally get to use..don't you think it would make a wonderful yo yo quilt? I don't sew but YO YO's I can do!! LOL..keep swimming w/the chickens..love it!!!

I'm glad! I was beginning to think you had fallen out of the plane over the Ocean or the Grand Canyon, it's been so long since a post of note. There are people out in the blogosphere that hold their breath between posts! I was turning Blue. Love, Dad
