How about some string pickin' birthday wishes for a fella! I made this birthday card using image from Singing Cowboy, one of my recently released sets from Whipper Snapper. The images of the cowboy and guitar are stamped in black StazOn ink and painted with re-inkers.The images on the background are stamped in a pale tan ink. A quick little birthday sentiment banner is tucked under the main image panel.
Before I adhered the guitar to the front of the cowboy, I used an Xacto blade to cut out around the fingers and cuff of his shirt. Then I slid the bottom of the guitar right under his hand. This is an easy way to add some simple dimension to a project. Worked like a charm!
Yeehaw!
We need to hear from you so that we'll know you are OK!!! I'm worried about you!!! Hope everything is OK on the farm, and with you personally. Thinking about you... =)

Oh no, you cut off one of his fingers (j/k)! Love the earth-tones and sponging here, and of course, your watercoloring. Great man card!

Gorgeous, or should I say handsome card! Say, I've been wondering, for quite some time, how do you make your sentiments pop like that? I tried using dimensionals, but can't get mine to look anywhere near as good as yours do! I really love the effect the 3-d sentiment has on your cards!

Anna, how adorable is this card? Yeah I'd say really adorable. I guess I'm just going to have to add this stamp set to my wish list. It's so hard to make man cards but this is way cute. Hope all is going well and you had an awesome Summer..It's down to 30 degree's in the mornings here. No more breakfast on the back patio. LOL..have a wonderful day..
