The head-to-toe adorable and endlessly crafty Val Stangle posted a card on her blog today using an older Hero Arts stamp called Watercolor Coneflower that she found stashed in a box of Hero Arts stamps she recently dug out of her supply cabinet.
Knowing I have that stamp too, I left her a comment and said that my Watercolor Coneflower stamp was probably dusty, too! In true Val form, she sent me an email and issued a bit of a challenge telling me to dust it off and create a 10 minute card.
And well, when Val tells me to stamp, I do. You just do.
I inked the flower with Marvy Brush Markers, spritzed the colored stamp with water, and stamped it on my paper. I added a bit of inking around the edges of the paper layers with a sponge, and chose a sentiment from my Blooming Expressions set from Whipper Snapper. A button and some Creative Impressions twine finish it off.
