How about we kick off the weekend with a little Whipper Snapper sneak peek, a cold beverage, and some good advice!
Monday July 20th marks the release date for my July Whipper Snapper cling sets ... and like every month, I'm having a BLAST with the new sets! The "waiting to release" part of being an illustrator and designer is the hardest part!
I love how this project turned out! For added dimension, I popped two corners of the main image panel up on foam adhesive. The other two corners are stitched down with some zigs. All of the edges were inked a bit, and don't you just love that Cosmo Cricket paper! I think it's very country/prairie/cowgirl looking!
The images were stamped in black StazOn ink and painted with a water brush. Her knees make me giggle... And do you see Tiny Tim! How fun for him to make an appearance in a stamp set!
This weekend the temps are supposed to settle in below 100*... an icy beverage will still be required.
Cock-a-doodle-dooo!

OMG! That sentiment is so funny! I love this!!

Hi Anna,
love the cowgirl series-- she is a shining star!
Do you do any tutorials on how you water color all your projects? I really would like to watch some of you at work?

Oh my, Anna, this is just as cute as can be! She definitely has the bee's knees! Love the ruffle on the bottom of her denim skirt; the round, flowered, over-sized belt buckle; the boots pointing in the same direction her knees are headed; her hair that comes out in a pointy curl on each side; that oversized mug with the lemon slice on it; and that adorable Tiny Tim! I'll bet your featured designers are 'chomping at the bit' to show their stuff!

Hey Anna ... can't wait to see the rest of this WS set :) I didn't think the little chicken was Tiny Tim, afterall, I don't see any bald areas on him!
Could you please produce a line of stamps that also includes your stunning watercolouring ~ talk about no effort required :0)

Cheers Anna! I think I will enjoy a cool beverage myself. Although it has been quite cool these past couple days here in WI.

FABULOUS card, Anna. Love the catty-wompus stitching and popped up corners. I adore the rich water colors on this card, but it's the look on Tiny Tim's face that stole my heart.
