I think picnics are better shared with a friend... don't you?
The images on this card are from three different sets: Beware of Bears (bear and basket), Hooked on Fishing (skeeter), and Friendly Expressions (sentiment)
I love being able to combine images from multiple sets to create one scene. YAHOO, what FUN!
The wooden button is from an OLD card of buttons I bought at a local antique shop a couple of months ago. Six vintage wooden buttons for a quarter. Not bad! I warmed it up a bit by rubbing it with the sponge I use to ink the edges of my cardstock with. The ink added just a bit of depth to the wood grain. Much better!
I love this bear! Right down to his hiking boots! Adorable card!

I see I'm not the first to think of Yogi Bear and his love of pic-a-nic baskets. I tried to find the words to the song, but I remember he "could sleep til noon but before it got dark he'd have every picnic basket in Jellystone Park" :)

I love it - I was just thinking how cute he would be holding that picnic basket. I should be getting my sets today - can't wait to take them this weekend. We are going trailer camping, and they will fit right in. Hope you are surviving the heat.

Adorable as always!!! So . . . are the skeeters his friend :0) We've had sooo much rain lately that I'm dreading the skeeter population here shortly!! Skeeters and opressive heat . . not my idea of a fun summer :0)
