I'm hosting the High Hopes blog challenge this week, and the theme for the week is "One for the Boys". I chose the wonderful old "Norman Goat" image and made this sassy birthday card! I know just who I'm sending it to, too (even if it will be late)!
The image is stamped in black StazOn and painted with re-inkers. I added some sewing to the layers with my Sew-Mini, and a fun button/twill/twine accent.
I wanted a birthday cake for the background paper, and since I couldn't find one in my High Hopes stash, I used the cake from my Chicken's in the Kitchen set. Deee-lish!
Happy Monday!!
So cute Anna! I love the colors you chose for his pants! I do love the way you do buttons too. Great idea with the cake on the background! Your card is da bomb!

p.s. The new pics of your chickens are cute--I love reading your stories about your animals--I especially liked the ones about your spider encounters--I can so relate!!

Oh Oh, I'm begining to feel nervous about this old goat thing. I dont think, I have anything to fear, but it's nowhere near my birthday. Lets just hope that the other old goat gets the "prize" Many happy returns to Ya, John. Yuk Yuk Love, Dad
