Ah! I had flashbacks to watching Bedknob's and Broomstick's as a kid. . . do you remember that part where Angela Landsbury has trouble with her incantaion? It went something like: "Filigree, apogee, pedigree, perigee!" I can't, for the life of me, remember what she was trying to do, but can hear her saying those words as clear as day. Thanks for jarring my memory, think I'll go add Bedknob's and Broomsticks to my Netflix queue, it's been a good 20+ years since I have seen it.

when the kids and i went to bed at 11, it was so bright out that we could have driven without headlights! i pointed this out to my elder son who took a minute to figure out why it was so bright out. would have been so much cooler if we had snow! but still majorly awesome!

Lucky you...I remembered to look out when after the moon had already risen quite high - but there was a haze over it. When's the next BIG one?
