I'm telling you, the Crafty Secrets Snowbunnies set is just too cute. I love it! Here's another card using one of the images from the set.
I stamped the image in black StazOn and painted it with reinkers and a water brush. I applied various brown Distress Inks with a foam applicator to the edges.
I wanted this to have a bit of sparkle, so I dug out my jar of Martha's White Gold Glitter. It's the perfect color for vintage. I applied a bit of clear glue to the edges and then rubbed the glitter on with my finger. This allowed me to loosely control how the glitter was adhering to the glue. I wanted it to look streaky, and peeled.
The sentiment is a SNEAK PEEK at one of the sentiments included in a Whipper Snapper set releasing on Monday. Just a few days!!
I create a little snowflake embellishment using three different snowflake punches, foam adhesive, a brad, and more of that White Gold glitter. Fun stuff!!
I get lots of questions about the little banners I use on my cards. There's really nothing too secret about them, honest! I cut a strip of cardstock to the width that I'd like (usually about 3/4"). I stamp my sentiment, ink the edges, and usually add some faux stitches. I use my fingers to shape the curves. I use adhesive on both ends to keep the shaped banner in place. On this particular banner I used foam adhesive. Sometimes I just use glue, but this time I wanted there to be a bit of dimension. Try one! They're fun!

I love all of your cards, but I'm kind of glad that you've been doing the warm, vintage looks again. I love the way you applied the distress inks around the image. These vintage, warm-looking cards are my favorites.
