Yes. It's true. I feel the need to put them on everything. But that's just because I think they're FABULOUS, and WINTERY, and FUN!
I made this box using the same idea as my 4 x 4 Lidless box, but to adjust for the size of the tea packets I made it a bit smaller at 2.75 x 2.75. I was able to make the sides of the box out of one length of 12" paper, and two squares for the bottom. Twelve tea packets fit perfectly!
The paper is from the new holiday line by Cosmo Cricket called Oh Joy. *Love it!* The sentiment is from my Whipper Snapper set called Winter Schminter.
The snowflakes are both Marvy punches, and I used the Martha Stewart branch punch to add a "frilly" looking dark brown snowflake in the middle. I've got loads more Diamond Dust glitter, and don't have any plans of coming to the end of my crystal snowflake addiction any time soon. *grin*

I love this snowflake!!!! I used it as inspiration for a Christmas card this year and have posted the card to my blog. I added a link to your blog so my readers could see the original - I hope that was okay. I also sent a link out to my friends regarding your little cold chicken and his coat. Too funny!

Beautiful!!! I broke my Marvy snowflake punch today :( I tried using it on Doodlebug white diamond glitter paper. The first snowflake was beautiful and then it froze up on the second one. By the time I got it unfroze, there was something rattling inside and it wouldn't punch all the way through! What a time for this to happen!!! I love the idea of inserting MS branch in between. I have that punch and her snowflake punch which is very nice but small. Oh well...life happens!

I think it's because you're unlikely to see any real snow! LOL! Up here in Canada, you might not be so taken with snowflakes! Yours are the best kind - not cold!

These are so interesting because you don't use normal winter colors. maybe i'll make some using yellow (for yellow snow) and pink for watermelon snow! ho ho ho!

Don't give up that addiction! Those snowflakes are wonderful. I finally have some glitter--already had the punches--so I'm ready to go. Now I just have to find the time. I love the vintage feel of your work. Oh, and Tiny Tim is just hilarious in his jacket.

GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the antique sparkle! I hope you don't come to an end with these as I love each project you come up with.
What are you using for brown ink? I really like the "coffee" color to it.

I recently bought a Martha Stewart punch and tried it out on ivory cardstock - oh my, I loved them - so elegant. I thought I was being a bit daring punching it out in ivory instead of white - huh! Then I see your beautiful brown snowflakes and wow!!! I adore these snowflakes!!! I plan on making some, too. I already had some chunky glitter and some large snowflake dies. I hope it works as well as yours:) TFS
