Thank you, THANK YOU for all the WONDERFUL birthday wishes! I must admit ... I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the comments, emails, cards, and phone calls. You're all so kind. My day was perfect. Thank you!
This evening I decided to put together a simple little card using my Acorn & Posie girl stamp. We had a lovely "fall" day here today, and I was inspired to use some autumn colors.
Acorn girl is stamped in black Palette ink and colored with Prismacolor pencils, using paper stumps and Gamsol to blend. I chose some great paper from BasicGrey, a fun brown button from my stash, and olive (or is it artichoke?) cardstock for my card base. I added some quick faux stitches to finish it off. This is one design I could do again and again...
Hope you have a wonderful day! Thanks for making me HAPPY!

What a CUTIE!!! She will be in my shopping cart also. TFS and all of the excitement.
Have a beautiful and blessed weekend.

LOVE your acorn girl. The card is smashing! Your expert coloring and choice in DP are just right. I particularly like the wavy non-symmetrical feel of the faux stitching and button tied with hemp twine. Adorable.
