Love these cards, Anna -- the real book pages are awesome! Our minds were certainly thinking alike -- I started working with this tree yesterday, too! Unfortunately, mine didn't turn out as planned, so I'm on to Plan B!

Anna,
What cute cards! I just ordered the Harvest Blessing set and can't wait to get it! I have such ideas for the scarecrow and pie - not necessarily on the same project, BUT could be.... :o)

Take care and STAY POSITIVE!

Very Unique. Love what you did with the tree.

Oh...I like this too! Great idea, I keep think I had to ink up a background stamp! Off to find a book to rip apart! LOL thanks for the inspiration!

I love the look of old papers too! Great cards!!

Hi I'm just Dad so I may not be "with it" but could a photo copy of an "old book" work? I love old books and old people too. but the picture is lovely! Dad

These are fabulous!!! Love them!!

OMGosh, I thought you had CUT OUT that TREE!!!
And then I read "quick", and thought NO WAY!!!
It's a GREAT card, and the little stamper girl is TOO CUTE!!! I love her! You will have to make that into a print you sell!!! =) That would be awesome! :D

You just couldn't get that aged paper look any other way, really. It's worth sacrificing a broken down book for. Especially appropriate for the "colonial" feel of Thanksgiving. I really enjoy your blog, btw!

I know what you mean about cutting up an old book, but since I started seeing altered books (something I still haven't tried), I've bought some cheapie falling-apart books in shops, and figured it's a good way to recycle. Love both cards...I also thought the tree was separate...great coloring!

Whoa, for a second there I thought you cut that tree out! I was gonna call you crazy...

I love this idea. I have been seeing lots of layers from sheet music. I think this is a great idea...I am sure I have an old book or two...

Beautiful cards Anna!

Love the looks of these, and the pies look so delish!! :)

Oh I LOVE these ideas!!

These are very pretty! :) A friend of mine used old maps from the phone book to make a travel-themed card. I agree about the tree. It looks popped-up.
Did you get that coon yet?

I have some old books that I use as decoration...maybe a page or two missing would be ok! I love this look Anna! You have my gears turning while I am at work right now, hmmmm Thanks for the inspiration! :)

Wonderful cards!! I read every word of how you did that tree and found it fascinating. Wow, right on the page - it looks like it's popped up on dimensionals! So cool!

Love the book pgs....Awesome cards! The pies are darling!

These cards are beautiful, even though you did use the real thing (gasp!). The tree looked cut out and popped up--what a cool effect with the white gel pen and your shading. I love the row of three pies too!
