Thank you for all of your heartfelt support and condolences for C-Biscuit. It's been a sad couple of days around the farm, without doubt. Though sad, we are grateful for the time we had with her. She was a delight to have on the farm, and taught us an incredible amount of information about caring for orphaned (and likely premature) donkeys, and about ourselves.
I'm reminded of this sweet layout we received as a gift earlier this summer from a young blog reader named Christina. This layout from Christina reminds me that we have so much to be thankful for. It means a great deal to us to be able to share our life on the farm experiences and have it enjoyed by so many people around the world. I never imagined that our critters would be known, and loved, by so many! Thank you for being a positive part of our lives!
So sorry for the loss of your sweet little C-Biscuit... glad you see the positive, and are thankful for what you have. Blessings.

What a sweet card, and loving reminder that inspite of it's ups and downs, life is precious and we need to be thankful for all that we have. Your blog is my daily breath of fresh air, your cards are so delightful and your photographs of your animals just make me feel like I'm a part of your life. Thanks for sharing so much of your lives with us...

Just catching up on my farm news, and my heart goes out to both of you for that little donkey. I was pulling for her from Michigan and the photos of her are just beautiful, as all your photos are! Have a nice evening, paula

I cried when I read about C-Biscuit! You are so blessed to live on the farm, and we live vicariously on one through your blog. My daughters have loved looking at the Frizzles (their favorite, I think!) and they are delighted with all the baby animals. Thank you for sharing all this was us.

Oh Anna and Alan -- I am so very sorry to hear about C-Biscuit. I am sending BIG {{{{{hugs}}}}} your way.
While farm life cycles around births and deaths, you always want the good moments to out do the bad moments. I know you bonded with that little one in a big way and I am sure there is a lot of hurt right now but I hope you can be comforted with the lovely photos you have of her. Through those photos, she will live on in your memories and ours.
I hope you can take a few days 'off' to regroup and renew.
Take care. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, Manetta

Anna,
I have been offline all weekend and just now learned of the loss of C-biscuit. I am sorry to hear that you lost the little donkey. After meeting you I know you'll be taking this hard as you have a heart of gold and hate to see any living creature hurting. We do have so much to be thankful and you have a barnyard full of animals to keep you happy!
