Here's a little card I put together using a couple of images from Storage Units, Ink & More's new line of clear stamps. I wanted to use this brightly colored paper from The Pets Stack of paper from DCWV.
I like how the sewing around the edges really makes the paper look like fabric! I think my Mom had some pants that looked just like this paper some time around 1972. And I'm pretty sure we have photos of her wearing them!
I colored the image with a water brush and reinkers. I added a bit of ultra fine glitter to the body of the dragonfly for LOTS of sparkle!

Anna, your work is one of my all time faves. The colors, the composition and the coloring are each top notch! BTW, I had those pants in 1972!!

How cute is this. He kind of looks like Clifford, the Big Red Dog! That paper background is just perfect with him...like he's sitting on a picnic blanket!
