First of all, thank YOU for all the kind comments, phone calls, emails, and virtual hugs you've left for Alan and me for DollieMae. We miss her. But she is now happy and well, and we're grateful for that. Thank you, again. We'll have the fun of new baby cows on the farm soon, as life on the farm moves along one day at a time.
I thought I'd share a card with you tonight. I made it a few days ago (last weekend, maybe?!) using the new Bird Lovers set by Crafty Secrets. The image is stamped in black StazOn and watercolored with Stampin' Up reinkers. I did some wild and crazy sewing, and added a couple of oyster shell buttons as an embellishment. LOVE this new set.
I have an order of all the new Crafty Secrets sets arriving soon (mid next week), so stay tuned if you're looking for any of the new sets being released.

Are those your love birds? smile. You did a wonderful job of coloring and I love your colors, the card is adorable. It looks like the babies are in school. I tried to read the words on top but I can't make them out. I Went to CS and still couldn't read it. Will you tell me if it says something, please. Hugs

What a beautiful card! Reminds me of my dear Auntie Marjorie! She loved birds and had such lovely blue bird figurines in her livingroom. Thanks for putting such a happy memory in my mind! :D

I love your new creation with *Bird Lovers* and your "crazy sewing"! ha! I think your wild sewing adds loads of personality and texture elements, as well as some ZING :)
I was sorry to hear about your recent loss Anna :( It is never easy to lose our precious pets, but as you say, she is at peace now and not in any further pain. I hope your sorrow is lightened by all the new life that will be surrounding you as the warmer temps soon approach ~ and I'll keep wishing that you'll give us blog "lurkers" the priviledge of seeing this new life, through the views of your magical lens. {*smile*}

Oh, I love the birds - maybe I'll have to CASE this card, right now! I'm not going anywhere today - 8" of snow and still falling - Spirit Lake, a little north of us, has 15" so I know your parents are snowed in too! My daughter wants to know if we can shoot the groundhog, or at least get a second opinion? It's really spectacular, though. Just bad timing. It's spring, for heaven's sakes!! Looks like mama is teaching the babies to sing, so it *must* be Spring! Yay! I love how you watercolored this image - so lovely!! And, your sewing lines are fun looking!
