YUM-O! I will definitely be making this delicious sounding recipe!!! I LOVE how you use "chunks" of pineapple in this recipe - what a fabulous idea. I'll let you know how mine comes out....and how long it takes my friends and family to devour it! :-)

I love upsidedown cake YUM!

I love upside down pineapple cake! Thank you!

It was gone in a flash last night. I think that this might just be the yellow cake recipe that my grandpa has been looking for! I am going to make it up for him this weekend and see if it is. Great recipe and my family loved it and requested more!

I bake mine in cast iron skillet also. In fact, think I'll go throw one together right now!

I got the ingrediants last night for this and making it today. Oh so good I cant wait for dinner tonight! TFS!

Oh wow, that sounds delicious!!! Going to have to try it!! TFS!

This is one of my favorite desserts!!

If you're making/eating cake, does this mean you're feeling better? Sure hope so.

Love yum-girl :)

This sounds delicious! Thanks for sharing!

Yummmm, sounds like comfort food to me. My mom used to make it when I was young - always adored it! I am printing off a copy of *Anna's own* and will try that just as soon as I get to the store for the pineapples :) Thanks for sharing!

Love your little Yum-girl, too. Wow, are you now doing digital images and adding it to your many artistic talents? You are amazing!!!

I just returned from a snowy, cold visit with family in New York State...had fun! Trying to get back in the loop with your blog. I see you are secretly stamping. Oh the agony of waiting to see your creations! Sorry to read that you've been feeling crummy since returning from CHA...no fun! Ahhh, childhood memories came with this post. My Mom used to make pineapple upside down cake quite often, but in her black cast iron skillet. TFS and definitely a YUM recipe! And of course, love the photo's in previous posts!

Mmmmm! I love pineapple upside down cake and am printing this recipe off. Can't wait to try it. TFS

Sounds scrumptious, and you did not take a picture of it?? I am going to try this...Chris

Sounds delicious!!
Thanks for sharing.

Pineapple upside down cake is a hubbys favorite! His bday is Monday, and I will be making him one. Gotta admit I usually doctor up a boxed cake mix...always use the pineapple just to replace the water.

and...where are the cherries?? Must have cherries poking out of the pineapple :)

(kind of startled me when I saw Aunt Patty !, was trying to remember when I gave you my recipe! ) LOL... it's still early and no school here today. Good think cuz now my DD has the sickies!

Be well!

I don't even want to READ that recipe for fear that I'll gain weight right now -- ha! But I LOVE your illustration of Yum Girl! Tell me there's a future stamp set that looks like this, please!!

Pineapple Upside Down cake is my second favorite cake (chocolate, of course, is #1). At work I am the card and treats lady. I can't wait to make your cake for all my co-workers! Thanks so much for sharing.

P.S. I noticed after I hit Post that the Yum-Girl was created by you! Digital - NEATO!

Sounds yummy! I think I only have a glass pie dish that was my mothers, but that doesn't mean I can't run out and a glass cake pan.:) Is the little girl at the top a new stamp??? She is a cutie!

That sounds sooooo good! I will have to give this one a go. yummy!

You must be feeling better if you're in the mood for baking! I love to bake. Never made Pineapple upside down cake though. I'll have to try this one.
Cute Yum- Girl(I wish I could draw!).
Hugs,
Anette(snowmom13)

Sounds delicious! I love the yum-girl you created. TFS.

My hubby's FAVORITE cake!!! He requests this every year for his birthday, so of course, I flash a smile and oblige him with this cake. I love that you have a smaller version - definitely gonna try this one out. He can eat this square pan all by himself. :-)

My mouth is watering. Thank You!

Sounds yummy!! My mom used to make one ~~ a bundt shape ~~ it was my dad's favorite! My boys love pineapple so I'll have to give this a try!! Thanks for sharing!

OOOOOHHHHH, that sounds SO yummy! You know, my Mom always baked P-U-D cakes in a glass dish, and I never knew why. Thank you for the tip! I would have never known to use the glass!
I may just have to see if I have some pineapple in the cupboard, it's snowing here, and has been dreary and cold all day. I think a cake might make the evening nicer! :D

Oh Anna, this sounds heavenly! But I am dieting and would surely eat the entire pan!! So I'm printing off your recipe to make when company comes. Love the little lickety splickety girl!!

WOW! sounds great-going to try it, this is my favorite cake (my mom used to make it for my birthday every year; her recipe made it the stove top in a cast iron skillet but the cake was a box mix) and I've never had it with a homemade cake part. Thanks for sharing (and I love your sweet girl illustration that I KNOW You made especially for your blog post!)
