I'm having such a great time using the stamps that I received this week. Gift Frog is one of my new Whipper Snapper images that I *needed* to have. I stamped him in black Stazon, and painted him with a water brush and Stampin' Up reinkers.
I used white acrylic paint on the tip of one of my smallest embossing tools to add the small white dots to the frog. It worked well, and was much easier to clean up than a paint brush.
I'm really liking River Rock colored Stampin' Up cardstock this week. (It's the funny pale green colored paper on this card.) I found that it matches this plaid paper by Chatterbox perfectly! Wouldn't you know it, I only have 1 sheet of the plaid paper, so I'll be on another search through my paper stash for a good match to River Rock before too long.
ANYWAY.... I bet what you are really wanting to know is who the LUCKY winner is of the three Whipper Snapper Blog Candy stamps I posted earlier this week.
WOWEE!! Out of 430 posts congrats to Anette Eakins!! It's YOUR LUCKY DAY! Get in touch with me, and I'll get your Shy Bunny, Hen's Easter Egg, and Love Line stamps out to you right away!
BIG thanks to everyone who participated! YOU are the reason offering Blog Candy is so FUN for me!
Happy Friday!

Congratulations for your new blog. I'll be looking forward to some interesting topics here, so I'll be sure to keep on coming back here. Thanks for sharing and Good luck.

Anna,
I love seeing your photos from your childhood- my mother passed away on 2/7/08 and we are starting to go thru some of her photos-- can you tell me if the old photos are safe to scrap book? I have found some from the 1900's and thank goodness the names and history are on them.
Any help would be appreciated!

I may have to rethink the whole plaid thing. I shy away from it in patterned papers because my childhood was inudated with plaids (alright, I am old). Ugh! But, I like the softness of this plaid. A really cute, but pretty card, Anna.

I noticed this frog just the other day and have it on my wishlist!! I have a question if you don't mind my asking and I apologize if it is already mentioned somewhere on your blog. Since you use watercolor alot - what is your favorite paper? I love the watercolor technique best but just haven't found the right paper yet.
Thanks!
